During a Q&A segment following a foreign policy address at the Hudson Institute in Washington, DC, 2024 Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie was confronted by a self-described whistleblower on the Trump administration. He asked Mr. Christie about how he could take him seriously as an anti-Trump candidate when he supported Trump’s 2016 candidacy and his presidency. Mr. Christie told him to find 80,000 donors and join him on the GOP primary debate stage.
