Biden listening to ‘left-wing pressure groups’ on border powers instead of constitution
Political Journalist John Fund has accused US President Joe Biden of “picking and choosing” when it comes to the southern border. Over seven million migrants have illegally crossed the US-Mexico border since Biden took office. Mr Fund’s remarks come as Mr Biden during a TV interview on Tuesday said he was not sure he could shut down the US-Mexico border. “We’re examining whether or not I have that power,” Biden said in an interview with Univision’s Enrique Acevedo. The President claimed in the interview that he “would have that power” to shut down the border if the Senate bipartisan border deal opposed by Republicans went through. “Biden doesn’t listen to the constitution, he listens to the left-wing pressure groups that are telling him we’re going to be very upset if you take on a policy that people will say you’re borrowing from … Donald Trump,” Mr Fund told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
